There’s something fishy about our trees! Join us on this walking tour to learn about the beautiful relationships that connect salmon, trees, and humans.

This walking tour is associated with our Carol Hubbard Memorial Natural History Exhibit: The Secret Life of Trees, created in collaboration with PoCo Heritage Trees!

Meet at the PoCo Heritage Museum and Archives at 1:00 pm for a brief exhibit tour, including our salmon cycle display. The tour will then follow the nearby Coquitlam River to look for spawning salmon, and City Councillor Laura Dupont will share with us why a healthy salmon population is so important to our spectacular West Coast temperate rainforest, and to us!

This event is perfect for families, so bring the kids along – rain or shine!
