My name is Alexis Wallace, and I am from Port Coquitlam. This pandemic is certainly a very interesting time. Something that I have noticed during this time, is how much people are coming together. There are lots of people spreading joy and happiness. One symbol of everyone’s kindness are hearts. Many people have put hearts up in their window, to show their thanks for the health care workers. Something that I enjoy is going on walks and finding as many hearts in windows, as I can. This has become a game I play. It can be easy to feel sad and anxious during these times, but it is the little kind gestures that people do, that really do make a big difference and affect your day.
