Directions

This stop takes us from Leigh Square down Leigh Square Place and out to Shaughnessy Street, the main stretch of downtown PoCo. Head north down Shaughnessy, until you come to the corner of Whyte Street, where there is a mural on the left wall of Floren’s Hair Cuts. After viewing this mural, you can carry on down the alleyway behind the pizza place to view the next two murals.

This mural was painted by Dumitru Barliga and Tammy Pilon. It was based on multiple pictures from the early years of Port Coquitlam’s incorporation, and shows off some of the scenery, businesses, and surrounding farms that defined the time.
